
Pennywise the clown Amigurumi
Pennywise the clown inspired by the movie IT.

SKILLS YOU NEED:
- Magic ring, chains, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, increase, invisible decrease, front loop only, back loop only, slip stitch
- How to change yarn color
- Basic sewing and embroidery skills
- How to join parts
MATERIALS:
- Hook N° 3 mm and 4 mm
- Worsted weight acrylic yarn #4
- I used: El Gato expres
- Light grey/ 60g. approx.
- White/ 50g. approx.
- Dark grey / 30g approx.
- Red / 30g. approx
- Brick color / 40g. approx.
- Sport weight yarn, Red, Black, Yellow
- Yarn needle
- Stitch marker
- Scissors
- Pins
- Fiberfill or stuffing of choice
- 5 Red pom pom 8mm
- Dog brush (optional)
- One thin wooden stick to hold the balloon
- Thread in color red and Needle or a glue gun to glue the pom-poms.
ABBREVIATIONS:
- Rnd = round
- MR= magic ring
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- hdc = half double crochet
- dc = double crochet
- inc = increase (2 sc in one st)
- dec = decrease (sc 2 together)
- inv dec = invisible decrease
- FLO = front loop only
- BLO = back loop only
- sts (s) = stitches (s)
- sl st = slip stitch
- rep = repeat
- * * = repeat work between asterisks as indicated
- ( ) = number of stitches you should have at the end of your round
NOTE:
- Mark the beginning of each round with a stitch marker
- Start stuffing as you go
PATTERN
ARMS MAKE 2 WHITE COLOR
Rnd 1.- Start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
Rnd 2.- inc in each stitch around (12)
Rnd 3-4.- 1 sc in each stitch around (12)
Rnd 5.- *inv dec, 2 sc* rep 3 times (9)
CHANGE TO LIGHT GREY
Rnd 8-10.- 1 sc in each stitch around (9)
Rnd 11.- BLO 2 dc in each stitch around (18)
Rnd 12.- * inv dec * rep 9 times (9)
Rnd 13.- inv dec, 7 sc (8)
Stuff firmly
Rnd 14.- fold the arm and make 3 sc, both sides together to close.
fasten off and make another one.
We are going to continue with light grey yarn in the back side of round # 7
FLO: 2 hdc in each chain, sl st in the first hdc. (18)
fasten off.
With Sport weight red yarn we embroider the details.
LEGS MAKE 2 DARK GREY
Rnd 1.- Start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
Rnd 2.- inc in each stitch around (12)
Rnd 3.- *1 sc, inc* rep 6 times (18)
Rnd 4.- *2 sc, inc* rep 6 times (24)
Rnd 5.- BLO 1 sc in each stitch around (24)
Rnd 6.- 8 sc, 4 inv dec, 8 sc (20)
Rnd 7.- 6 sc, 4 inv dec, 6 sc (16)
Rnd 8.- 1 sc in each stitch around (16)
CHANGE TO LIGHT GREY
Rnd 9-10.- 1 sc in each stitch around (16)
Rnd 11.- BLO 1 sc in each stitch around (16)
Rnd 12-15.- 1 sc in each stitch around (16)
Stuff firmly, fasten off.
We are going to continue with Light grey yarn in the back side of round # 11
FLO: 2 dc in each chain, sl st in the first dc. (32)
fasten off.
With Sport weight red yarn we embroider the details.
Make a second leg, DO NOT cut the yarn at the end.
BODY
Second leg make 6 sc and chain 3. now join the legs, count 3 sc of the first leg. see picture # 3, place your stitch marker in the first sc.
Rnd 16.- Make 16 sc, 3 sc over the chain taking only one strand, 16 sc, 3 sc over the chain taking only one strand (38)
Rnd 17.- BLO 1 sc in each stitch around (38)
Rnd 18.- 1 sc in each stitch around (38)
Rnd 19.- * 17 sc, inv dec* rep 2 times (36)
Rnd 20-22.- 1 sc in each stitch around (36)
Rnd 23.- BLO * 4 sc, dec * rep 6 times (30)
Rnd 24.- BLO 1 sc in each stitch around (30)
Rnd 25-26.- 1 sc in each stitch around (30)
Rnd 27.- * 3 sc, inv dec * rep 6 times (24)
Rnd 28.- 1 sc in each stitch around (24)
Rnd 29.- 6 sc, we place the arm to join the body through the 4 strands and we make 3 sc, continued with 9 sc
Place the second arm and make 3 sc and finish the round with 3 sc (24)

EYES (2) WITH YELLOW SPORTS WEIGHT YARN AND 3 MM HOOK
1.- Make 8 hdc in a magic ring (8)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Place the eyes between rounds 42 and 44, 2 stitches apart
- Embroider the eyebrows between rounds 43 to 46
- Embroider nose between rounds 40 to 41
- Embroider mouth between rounds 37 to 38, see pictures 1 to 19.
- With black Sport weight yarn, we make the teeth forming 4 V.
- And embroider the rest of the mouth.
With black Sport weight yarn, we embroider around the eyes.
HAIR BRICK COLOR
Rnd 1.- Start 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
Rnd 2.- inc in each stitch around (12)
Rnd 3.- *1 sc, inc* rep 6 times (18)
Rnd 4.- *2 sc, inc* rep 6 times (24)
Rnd 5.- * 3 sc, inc * rep 6 times (30)
Rnd 6.- * 4 sc, inc * rep 6 times (36)
Rnd 7.- * 5 sc, inc * rep 6 times (42)
Rnd 8.- * 6 sc, inc * rep 6 times (48)
Rnd 9-14.- 1 sc in each stitch around (48)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Brush and sew it in the back of the head

Rnd 5.- *1 sc, inc* rep 6 times (18)
Rnd 6.- 1 sc in each stitch around (18)
Rnd 7.- *2 sc, inc* rep 6 times (24)
Rnd 8.- * 3 sc, inc * rep 6 times (30)
Rnd 19.- Make 8 dec, 1 sc, 12 hdc, sl st.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Fill lightly and brush all the pieces.



- Sew the top of the hair in round 50 with the hdc to the front
- Sew the hair of the sides in round 39 to 47 with the hdc to the back


EARS MAKE 2 WHITE YARN
1.- 5 sc in a magic ring (5)
We close it in half to form an ear, we make 1 chain and cut leaving a long thread.
- Sew ears between rounds 39 to 41
BALLOON RED YARN
Rnd 2.- inc in each stitch around (12)
Rnd 3.- *1 sc, inc* rep 6 times (18)
Rnd 4.- *2 sc, inc* rep 6 times (24)
Rnd 5.- * 3 sc, inc * rep 6 times (30)
Rnd 6-12.- 1 sc in each stitch around (30)
